We always stay at the Riverfont on our trips to Hobart and have always found the staff to be fantastic and service very professional.
Meals are great and rooms very clean. We can thoroughly recommend the Riverfront to any potential visitors to Hobart.

Tip top; It's clean, neat and self contained, quiet and with a lovely outlook over Hobart. it's just right for a couple (no more than than that, though) looking for a compact, convenient and quiet holiday stay. In particular; it is good value for money (priced just about right) and it is right next to regular bus services down Mt Nelson to Hobart and surrounds - and with a frequent service. The people that own it are pleasant to deal with and they are not intrusive. Please note that there is just one double bed, so the couple had better be on speaking terms! The shower is hot (with buckets of water flow/pressure) and there is a microwave, small fridge, and kitchen, utensils, cups, plates & bowls etc., and a basic sink - a small area for basic food preparation and clean up; an iron and ironing board are available if asked for, apparently there are laundry facilities too (I did not use them, however). The cedar wooden blinds and general finish are really pleasant, & so - Recommended!
